The Johnson City Public Library Is Hosting A Traveling Exhibit, “Confronting Violence: Improving Women’s Lives,” From September 29th To October 5th. The Exhibit, Produced By The National Library Of Medicine, Showcases How Nurses Have Led Efforts To Reform The Medical Field’s Response To Domestic Violence Since The Late 1970s. It Will Be Featured In The Library’s Buffalo Mountain Room. The Goal Is To Raise Awareness And Celebrate The Role Healthcare Workers Have Played In Improving Women’s Lives.
