The Washington County Johnson City Animal Shelter Rescued 13 Wolf Hybrids After Police Discovered The Animals Living In Poor Conditions At A Johnson City Home In Late August. Shelter Executive Director Tammy Davis Reported That Half Of The Malnourished Hybrids Have Since Been Placed In Sanctuaries Or With Rescue Organizations Equipped To Care For Them. The Hybrids, Some Of Which Are At Least 67% Wolf, Require Specialized Care That Differs From Domestic Dogs. Animal Cruelty Charges Have Been Filed As The Investigation Continues.
