The Eastern Band Of Cherokee Indians Submitted The Request, And The Board Voted Unanimously In Favor. Kuwohi, Meaning “Mulberry Place,” Holds Deep Significance For The Cherokee People And Is One Of The Most Visited Sites In The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
