The Washington County Tennessee School System Is Considering Options To Replace The Aging Heating & Cooling System At Daniel Boone High School. The Current Geothermal System In Place Has A Well That Is 50 Years Old And It Has Been A Maintenance Issue For The Past Six Months. Options Include Either Installing A More Updated Version Of The Existing System, Or Replacing It With New Cooling Towers And Boilers For Heating. The Change Out Will Cost Up To 3-Million Dollars. School Leaders Are Expected To Explore Further Options Before Making Any Decisions.
