BRISTOL, TENNESSEE CITY LEADERS ARE SET TO VOTE TONIGHT ON THE SECOND AND FINAL READING OF A PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. CITY MANAGER KELLI BOURGEOIS SAYS IT’S NECESSARY DUE TO RISING COSTS AND THE END OF AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT FUNDS. THE HIKE WOULD RAISE $1.9 MILLION ANNUALLY, HELPING RETAIN STAFF AND FUND PROJECTS.
