The Gray Branch Of The Washington County Library Is Moving To A Larger Location After 30 Years, Thanks To The County’s Purchase Of The Former Citi Building. The New Space Will Double The Library’s Current Size, But Additional Furniture Is Needed, Which The Library Foundation Aims To Fund. Library Director Richard Griffin Emphasized The Importance Of The Expansion For Community Engagement, And The Jonesborough Public Library Is Also Exploring Future Growth, Potentially Using The Old Jonesborough Middle School Building For Multipurpose Community Use.
