The City Of Bristol, Tennessee, Is Considering An Ordinance Amendment That Would Ban Roosters, Peacocks, And Guinea Fowl Within City Limits. The Draft Proposal, Presented During A City Council Work Session By Maj. Walter Brown Of The Bristol Tennessee Police Department, Comes In Response To Increasing Noise Complaints. Brown Noted That Other Nearby Cities Have Similar Bans. If Approved, The Ban Would Take Effect In March 2025, Giving Residents Time To Rehome Their Birds. The Ordinance Would Still Allow Hens To Be Kept In The City.
