Bristol Virginia City Leaders Have Approved A Motion To Sell The Former Stonewall Jackson And Washington-Lee Elementary School Properties. Developers Want To Turn Stonewall Jackson Into A Hotel And To Build Housing On The Washington-Lee Property. Those Homes, If All Goes As Planned, Could Be Built And Ready To Go Within Two Years. Both Of These School Properties Closed Due To The Opening Of A New Intermediate School. The City Council Is Expected To Meet Again September 10th.
