The Kingsport Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Has Approved A $13.4 Million Bid For Renovations At The Kingsport Justice Center, With An Additional $5.6 Million Coming From Sullivan County. The Project Will Expand The Building, Adding Courtrooms And Space For The Kingsport Police Department. Kingsport Police Deputy Chief Jason Bellamy Says The Renovations Will Address Safety Issues And Improve Efficiency. The Project, Overseen By Deputy City Manager Ryan McReynolds, Will Take 960 Days To Complete, With Preston Construction Company Handling The Contract.
