Two Manufacturing Plants In Telford, Jtekt And Nakatetsu Machining Technologies , Will Cease Operations By 2026, Affecting Almost 250 Employees. The Plants, Which Have Operated In The Washington County Industrial Park For Nearly 20 Years, Are Closing Due To Declining Demand For Parts Used In Conventional Engines As The Industry Shifts Focus To Electric Vehicles. The Officials At Both Plants Said The Closures Are Not Due To Employee Performance But Are Necessary To Align With Market Demands. Both Companies Plan To Offer Job Transition Assistance And Severance Packages.
