The Altar Fellowship Church In The Tri-Cities Region Partnered With A National Program To Pay Off Around $8 Million In Medical Debt For Nearly 4,000 Families Across Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Unicoi, And Washington Counties. The Initiative, Led By Senior Pastor Mattie Montgomery, Inspired The Church Community To Raise $50,000 In Just One Day. The Effort, Which Helped Many Families, Including Some Of The Church’s Own Members, Aims To Relieve The Burdens Of Those Struggling With Medical Debt And Share A Message Of Love And Hope.
