The Kingsport Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Could Decide Tonight On A Construction Bid For The Expansion Of The Justice Center. After Receiving Several Bids, The City Has Recommended Preston Construction Company To Construct The Addition At A Cost Of $14.3 Million. It Will Fund An Expanded Secure Entrance, Additional Courtrooms, And Redesigned Police And Sheriff’s Offices. Sullivan County Will Contribute $5.6 Million For The Project. Also, The City Will Discuss Tonight, Giving $50,000 To The Friends Of The Kingsport Public Library.
