Kingsport Has Received $2.9 Million From The State’s Local Parks And Recreation Fund, Part Of A $21 Million Grant Distribution Announced By The Tennessee Office Of Outdoor Recreation. The Funds Will Be Used To Enhance Brickyard Park With New Bike Trails, A Lighted Parking Lot Expansion, And Accessibility Improvements. Bays Mountain Park Will Also See Renovations, Including An Upgraded Nature Center, Accessible Pathways, And A New Otter Habitat.These Improvements Are Part Of A Broader Effort To Enhance Recreational Facilities Across The State.
