The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Has Identified The Fisherman Who Drowned In The Watauga River On Monday As 31-Year-Old Brandon Nave From Watauga. Nave Fell Out Of His Kayak Around 9 A.M., About A Half-Mile Below Wilbur Dam. Another Kayaker, Who Was Fishing With Nave, Made It To Shore And Called 911. Nave’s Body Was Recovered By Carter County Rescue And The Sheriff’s Office.
