The Law Is To Assist Those Cases Where Foul Play Is Not Immediately Suspected, Enabling Access To Crucial Phone, Social Media, And Bank Records. The Legislation Was Inspired By Cases Like That Of Stephen Tyler Johnson From Campbell County, Who Went Missing In April Of 2022. Due To Previous Law, Investigators Has Significant Challenges Getting This Information Without Suspected A Crime.
