Emory & Henry College Is No More…Its University Status As Of August 1st. The Transition Follows Approval Of A Strategic Plan By The Board Of Trustees In March Of 2023. The Change Coincides With The Departure Of President John Wells, Who Will Now Serve As The Inaugural Chancellor Of The University. When Students Return There Will Updated Signage, Merchandise, And Updated Website Reflecting The New Status Of The 188-Year-Old Institution.
