A Total Of 782-Thousand Dollars Has Been Allocated For The School System Operating Fund. The Remaining Amount Of 42-Thousand Dollars Was Given To Explore Bristol. Meanwhile, No Action Was Taken On A Proposal To Sell The Buildings Of Highland View, Stonewall Jackson, And Washington-Lee Elementary Schools. Those Schools Are Closing To Consolidate Students Into Virginia Primary And The New Virginia Intermediate Schools. The Council Will Meet Again On Tuesday August 13th.
