Smyth County, Virginia Has Been Awarded A $1.1 Million Grant From The Opioid Abatement Authority To Purchase A Mobile Health Services Unit For The Mount Rogers Health District. The Application Includes Partnerships With Highlands And Mount Rogers Community Services Boards And Eight Localities, Including Smyth And Washington Counties And The City Of Bristol.  The Mobile Units Will Provide Clinical And Preventative Services, Including Substance Use Prevention, Immunizations, And Harm Reduction.  The Units Should Be Operational Later This Year.
