The Sullivan County Commission Will Meet This Evening To Discuss The 2024-25 Fiscal Year Spending Plan That Could See A Property Tax Rate Increase For County Residents. Four Resolutions Will Be Considered. One Calls For A Nine Cent Tax Hike That Would Set The Property Tax Rate At $2.49 Per $100 Of Assessed Value. County Leaders Will Also Consider A Resolution To Amend The School Budget And A Resolution To Appropriate Money For Various Departments. The Meeting Gets Underway This Evening At 6pm At The Historic County Courthouse.
