The Jonesborough Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Has Approved On First Reading, Its 2024-25 Fiscal Year Budget Without A Property Tax Increase. The New Tax Rate Will Be 97 Cents Per $100 Of Assessed Value Compared To Last Year’s Rate Of $1.20. However, Water And Sewer Rates For Some Commercial Accounts Will Increase And Building Permit And Review Fees Will Be Increasing Due To The Growth In The Town. Town Employees Will Also See Pay Raises. A Second Reading On The Budget Will Be Held Soon.
