A Telford Man Accused Of Elder Abuse Will Appear In General Sessions Court This Afternoon. 57 Year Old Robert Dyer Is Charged With Aggravated Abuse/Neglect Of An Elderly Adult After A Woman In His Care Was Found Living In Deplorable Conditions At A Home On Sliger Road. When Deputies Made Contact With The 77 Year Old Woman, She Was Found To Be Visibly Underweight And Was Lying In A Bed Covered With Feces And Urine. She Was Immediately Transported To An Area Hospital For Treatment. Dyer Is Being Held Without Bond. Tennessee Adult Protective Services Has Been Contacted To Assist With The On-Going Investigation.
