The TBI Is Continuing To Investigate An Officer Involved Shooting In Sullivan County. It Happened On Pine Hill Road In Bluff City. The TBI Said Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputies Responded To A Request For A Welfare Check On An Individual. Upon Arrival, Deputies Made Contact With 54 Year Old William Kevin Guinn Who Was Armed With A Gun. For Reasons Still Under Investigation, The Deputy Fired Shots Striking The Man. He Was Pronounced Dead At The Scene. No Officers Were Injured. Once The Investigation Has Been Completed, The Finding Will Be Turned Over To The District Attorney General For His Review And Consideration.
