A Federal Judge In U.S. District Court In Knoxville Has Dismissed A Lawsuit Filed By Former Greeneville Police Department Assistant Chief Michael Crum. The Judge Granted A Motion For Summary Judgment By The Town. Crum Was Fired In 2021 After 31 Years Of Service. He Sought Lost Wages, Benefits And Other Compensatory Damages Claiming His Due Process Rights Were Violated In Connection With His Termination. Crum Was Dismissed After An Internal Investigation Revealed Low Morale Among Police Officers Along With Allegations Of Favoritism And Possible Discriminatory Treatment Of Female Officers.
