The Kingsport Board Of Education Has Decided On First Reading To Allow Random Drug Testing For High School Students Who Participate In Extracurricular Activities. This Would Include Athletics, Cheerleading, Competitive Band, Clubs, Student Leadership Positions And More. If Students Test Positive, They Would Not Be Suspended Or Expelled. The Policy Will Have To Be Approved On Second Reading Before Its Adopted.
