A Proposal To Downsize The Sullivan County Commission From 24 Members Down To 14, Was Not Welcome News For Many. Commissioner Hunter Locke Is The Sponsor Of The Resolution. Commissioners Mark Ireson And Andrew Cross Expressed Their Displeasure To The Idea. Ireson Said He Fears Those In Smaller Communities Won’t Have A Voice. No Action Was Taken And The Issue Will Be Discussed Further By County Leaders.
