A Washington County Tennessee Grand Jury Has Indicted A Member Of Jonesborough’s Historic Zoning Commission Accused Of Swindling Several People Out Of Thousands Of Dollars In Preservation Construction Work. Marc Kovac Is Charged With Felony And Misdemeanor Theft. Kovac And His Company, Mek Historical Restoration, Allegedly Left Several People With Incomplete And/Or Poorly Performed Work. Two Of The Theft Counts Are For 60-Thousand Dollars Or More. Kovac Is Free On 25-Thousand Dollars Bond And Has A Hearing Set For July 1st In Criminal Court.
