The Kingsport Police Department Is Investigating A Possible Drowning That Happened On The South Fork Of The Holston River. Emergency Personnel Responded To Riverbend Park Last Evening And Recovered A Body Near The South John B. Dennis Highway Bridge. It Has Been Sent To The Medical Examiner’s Office In Johnson City For An Autopsy. Foul Play Is Not Suspected. Police Are Continuing To Investigate The Death And Additional Details Will Be Released Later.
