The Head Of Hawkins County Schools, Matt Hixson Has Received A New Four Year Contract And A Pay Raise. The Board Of Education Agreed To Give Hixson $10,000 More Plus Increased Benefits. Only One Board Member Objected To The Pay Hike. The Attorney For The School Board Recommended Slight Changes To The New Contract To Keep It Current With New Laws.
