Former Carter County Sheriff’s Chris Mathes Is Recovering From A Serious Accident Over The Weekend. According To His Family, The Former Lawman Was Hit By A Large, Falling Tree. It Reportedly Caused Him To Fall About Ten Feet To The Ground. Mathes Remains In ICU In Stable Condition At This Time.
