BRISTOL VIRGINIA POLICE ARE CONTINUING TO SEARCH FOR TWO MEN INVOLVED IN A HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT OVER THE WEEKEND THAT LEFT A 14 YEAR OLD CITY TEEN INJURED. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED OUTSIDE OF SPRINGDALE VILLAGE APARTMENTS ON 2ND STREET. THE TEEN, WHO WAS RIDING A BICYCLE AT THE TIME, ONLY SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES. WITNESSES SAID A SPORTS UTILITY VEHICLE SPRAY PAINTED BLACK WITH OVERSIZED WHEELS CARRYING TWO WHITE MALES STRUCK THE BOY AROUND SIX O’CLOCK SATURDAY EVENING. THE INJURED TEEN HAS BEEN RELEASED FROM AN AREA HOSPITAL. AUTHORITIES ARE ASKING ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ON THIS ACCIDENT TO CALL THEM.
