The Civil Action By Crum Seeks $1.3 Million In Damages And Reinstatement To The Job. Crum’s Amended Complaint Cites Alleged Violations Of Town Employee Human Resources Department Policy, Asserting He Was Dismissed On A “For Cause” Basis, Outside Guidelines Set Forth In The Policy. The Town Denies The Assertion. Crum Was Dismissed In 2021 After An Internal Investigation. A Jury Trial In The Case Is Set For June 11th In Federal Court In Knoxville.
