The Hawkins County Superintendent Of Schools Has Released A Statement Regarding The Recent Settled Federal Lawsuit Against The School System. Matt Hixson Said The Board Still Strongly Denies Employees Were Deliberately Indifferent To Any Of The Alleged Harassment And In His Opinion The Employees Acted In The Proper Manner. Hixson Ended The Statement Saying The County’s Board Of Education Is Still Committed To Responding Appropriately To Any Racial Harassment Or Bullying Within The School System.
