A Lawsuit Alleging Racial Bullying That Was Allegedly Ignored By Church Hill Middle School Officials Has Been Settled. Court Documents Filed In U.S. District Court In Greeneville Show An Order Was Granted Approving Joint Motions To Settle The Lawsuit Between The School Board And The Minor’s Mother. As Part Of The Settlement The School System Will Pay $110,000 To The Court, And Of That, A Partial Amount Will Be Disbursed To The Plaintiffs Attorney With The Remaining Amount Of Almost $60,000 To Be Deposited Into An Interest Bearing Account To Be Disbursed Solely For The Educational Needs Of The Minor.
