The Scott County Sheriff’s Office Has Released New Details In A Shooting And Related Death. The Kingsport Police Department Responded To Harrison Avenue On December 29th Where The Victim Said 36 Year Old Mary Bombailey Shot Him And Left The Scene. KPD Officers Began A Chase After Finding Bombailey On Bell Ridge Road. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office Reports The Chase Crossed Into Virginia And The Vehicle Stopped In The Road In Weber City. Officers Found Bombailey Slumped Over In The Vehicle. She Was Pronounced Dead At The Scene From What Appeared To Be A Self Inflicted Gun Shot Wound. The Investigation Is Ongoing.
