The Money Will Help Fund Financial Commitments Bristol Made In A Consent Decree It Entered Into With The Virginia Department Of Environmental And The Attorney General’s Office. The Landfill Is Now Closed And Work Is Being Done From Gas Collection To Sidewall Odor Mitigation, Waste Temperature Monitoring And Leachate Extraction. The City Just Hired A New Director Of Solid Waste.
