The Washington County Tennessee Commission Is Expected To Discuss Today, Paying The Lease On The New Jonesborough K-8 School. Commissioners Will Have To Approve $2.1 Million To The Town Of Jonesborough Through The Remainder Of This Fiscal Year For The Lease. A Sum Of $12.5 Million Will Have To Be Paid Over A 25-Year Period To Help Fund Its School Capital Needs. The Payments Will Be Made In $500,000 A Year Installments. The New School Sits On A Tract Of Land Off North Cherokee Street. Washington County Will Assume Ownership Once The Debt Has Been Paid. County Leaders Will Meet Today.
