Over 685-Thousand Dollars In Federal Grant Money Will Go To Help The Water And Soil Quality As Well As Wildlife In Southwest Virginia. Three Different Grants In Varying Amounts Are Being Provided Through The Foundation’s Central Appalachia Habitat Stewardship Fund. The Largest Portion Of The Grant Will Will Go Toward The Evergreen Soil And Water Conservation District In Smyth County. The Remaining Smaller Amounts Will Go Toward The Ruffed Grouse Society And The Nature Conservancy.
