Washington County Tennessee Sheriff’s Deputies Have Arrested Two New Jersey Residents In Relation To A Extortion Scam. 34 Year Old Chinagorom Onwumere And 27 Year Old Salma Abdalareem Are Both Charged With 3 Counts Of Extortion And 3 Counts Of Financial Exploitation Of An Elderly Vulnerable Person Among Other Charges. The Sheriff’s Office Became Aware Of A Scam In Late October. The Local Elderly Victim Is Estimated To Have Sent Over $100,000 Total To The Pair. The Pair Appeared In Court November 20th And Are Both Being Held On A $500,000 Bond. A Preliminary Hearing Is Set For November 30th. Additional Charges Are Pending.
