Washington County Virginia Has Declared A Ban On Burning Effective Immediately Due To Wildfires Continuing Throughout The Region And Dry Weather. The Ban Is For Both Public And Private Property Until Further Notice And Local Agencies Are On Extra Alert To Respond To Fires If Needed. The Burn Ban Will Remain In Effect Until A Significant Amount Of Precipitation In The County.
