Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin Has Announced Up To 65,000 Acres Of Previously Coal Mined Land In Southwest Virginia Could Be Transformed For Energy Purposes. This Is Part Of Youngkin’s Virginia Energy Plan To Harness Natural Gas, Nuclear, Renewables And Other Emergency Sources To Meet The Energy Needs Of The Commonwealth. Under The Agreement, Energy Delta Labs, In Coordination With Wise County Officials And Landowner Energy Transfer, Will Serve As The Primary Developer Partnering With Energy Companies And Electric Utilities. Both Democrats And Republicans Support The Southwest Virginia Project.
