East Tennessee State University Is Working To Overcome Growing Pains For Housing And Classroom Space. Dr. Joe Sherlin, The Vice President Of Life And Enrollment, Said The Freshman Class Over The Last Two Years Has Grown At A Rate Of 25-Percent. A Feasibility Study Will Be Conducted To Help Determine What Buildings Can Be Converted To Residence Halls For Now With Plans In The Future To Build New Living Spaces For Students. Meanwhile, The University Is Continuing A 300-Million Dollar Investment Into Renovation And Construction Projects To Ensure Adequate Classroom Size For Students.
