In Greene County, The Coalition Addressing Needs Of Unhoused People Has Been Established To Help With Homelessness Issues. Currently, There Are Over 100 Families Without A Place To Call Home. Operations Manager, Lori Grabner, Said 62-Percent Of People That Are Homeless Are Not What You Think, They Are Families With Children. The Group Tries To Pack Food Bags And Hand Them Out To The Homeless Community. The Organization Is Currently Working With Both The Greeneville And Greene County Mayors To Help Come Up With Ways To Provide For The Less Fortunate Community.
