A Bristol, Virginia Clergy Woman Is Asking The City Council To Move A Confederate Statue On Lee Street Off City Property. Reverend Jackie Nophlin Said The Property Is Maintained By City Work Crews, Paid For By Taxpayers, And This Statue Shouldn’t Be There. Mayor Neal Osborne Agreed The Request Should Be Considered By The Council And It Would Make Sense To Have The Statue Relocated To A Cemetery Where Confederates Are Buried.
