The United States Geological Survey Has Reported An Earthquake Occurred Near Roan Mountain And Hampton. The 2.2 Magnitude Earthquake Happened Yesterday Morning And Shook Carter County Just Before 5am. The Earthquake Had A Depth Of Just Over Five Miles. The Site Of The Quake Centered Just North Of Highway 19e And Old Railroad Grade Road.
