Ballad Health And The City Of Elizabethton Have Announced Plans To Turn A Former Fitness Center Into A Physical Fitness Complex. The Two Sides Have Agreed To Reopen Franklin Fitness Center As A Community Center, Which Calls For Basketball Courts And Other Recreational Opportunities. The Facility Is Located On The Sycamore Shoals Hospital Campus. The City Will Purchase It For $500,000. The Deal Will Only Happen If City Leaders Approve It At Their November 9th Meeting.
