Johnson City Has Started A Year Long Road Project In An Effort To Improve West Oakland Avenue, West Mountview Road And Knob Creek Road. It Will Be Conducted In Four Phases With The First One Starting This Week. West Oakland Will Move To Three Lanes With A Center Turn Lane. A New Bridge Will Be Installed In The Area Of Denny Mill Road And A Limited Sight Distance Curve Will Also Be Improved. Drivers Are Encourged To Use Caution In This Area.
