The Carter County Health And Welfare Committee Has Passed A Resolution Over Concerns About Ballad Health. Several Residents Recently Spoke Out, Saying They Believe Some Ballad Decisions Have Negatively Impacted The Community’s Health Care After Ballad Closed Its Intensive Care Unit At Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Ballad Defended Its Decision Saying Patients Would Be Better Served At Johnson City Med Which Is Larger And Better Equipped. The Resolution Will Go Before The Full Commission Later This Month.
