The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Department Is Investigating An Incident That Sent County Jail Inmates To The Hospital. Corrections Officers Were Informed Of A Possible Overdose In The Jail On September 28th. Responding Deputies Reported Finding Several Inmates Under The Influence Of Some Type Of Intoxicant. Four Were Transported To The Hospital For Treatment. No Further Information Will Be Released Until The Investigation Is Complete.
