All Members Of The Hawkins County Emergency Medical System Board Of Directors Have Been Released From Their Positions. A Motion Was Approved This Week By The County Rescue Squad. This Is Part Of An Effort To Form A Quasi-Governmental Agreement Between The County, The Ems And Surrounding Municipalities. This Will Allow Board Members To Restructure The EMS Bylaws To Support The Creation Of A New Board. Last Month, EMS Workers Submitted A Vote Of No Confidence. County Rescue Squad Captain Jarrell Moore Said He Thinks It’s A Good Time To Separate From Ems. This Will Also Help EMS To Obtain More Funding And Be Eligible For The Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System.
