The Tennessee Court Of Criminal Appeals Has Agreed With A Court Ruling Dismissing A Petition By One Of The Defendants Who Is Serving Time For The Murders Of A Family In Greene County That Occurred In 1997. 43 Year Old Karen Howell And Three Others , Who Are All Serving Life Sentences In The Deaths Of Vidar, His Wife Delfina And Six Year Old Daughter Tabitha Lillelid, Maintains She Did Not Participate In The Murders. She Was Seeking Fingerprint Analysis Of The Original Murder Weapons. The Family Was Kidnapped From A Rest Area Along Interstate 81, Taken To A Remote Area Of Greene County And Shot To Death. They Were Arrested A Short Time Later In The Family’s Van Trying To Cross Into Mexico.
